Transporting containers by lorry is the fastest and most efficient way of transporting containers from a depot to their destination in Germany. A distinction can be made between loading with and without a crane and loading with a side loader. When transporting containers by standard lorry, the container is transported to the customer with the aid of special container chassis and tractor units and unloaded on site using a forklift truck or crane. Container transport by lorry with a loading crane, on the other hand, enables the container to be loaded and unloaded directly at the customer's premises using a loading crane on board the lorry.
